![]() Still in the back of my mind, but kinda dismissed it from my list of candidates tho as I couldn’t find specs on dot size (5MOA?…3MOA?) or parallax setting (if even applicable). All of my scopes (except the for one on my pistol pic above) have Mil Dot reticles. I looked into it also as I admit to being a bit of a “Mil Dot junkie”…love having multiple aim points, just seems easier for me. Thanks, Jason…always appreciate your (& everyone else's) input!įunny that you mentioned the Xbow, 3-dot sight. I did prefer the size and handling of the previous open reflex sight but the multiple aim points were the deciding factor for me. So I went looking for something that has multiple aim points and settled on this one with 3 dots: I could barely even see them and the holdover for a 5fpe pistol was pretty dramatic. Then I got to where I could hit the teaspoon spinners at 25 yards most of the time, so for a challenge I started going after the spinners at 43 yards. I was soon clearing out the Gamo spinners at 10 meters with 100% success: ![]() And I had no experience with a red dot sight until about a year ago when I bought an inexpensive reflex sight to go on a pistol. I shoot paper mainly for finding the right pellet and sighting in, then it's mostly reactive targets and pests/small game. Todd, your situation sounds pretty similar to mine. ![]()
